We let our work do the talking

Nike

Digital products to carry out a transformative marketing strategy

In 2002, BusinessWeek called Nike’s sports apparel division a “chronic underachiever” in the marketplace. But Nike had just launched Nike.net to help retailers of all sizes more easily access forthcoming product lines, a selling tool that would produce consistent revenue growth across all categories. In 2012, Nike.net increased it’s revenue 35% from the year prior.

Digital Ascent supports Nike.net’s marketing strategies by designing and developing landing pages, email campaigns, interactive catalogs/flip-books, online marketing materials, product videos and interactive pieces for various categories including NFL, skateboarding, soccer and running among others. Everything Digital Ascent produces for Nike drives traffic back to the .Net platform allowing retail buyers to easily place orders for upcoming seasons.

Qualcomm Atheros

A digital strategy that grows and adapts

For the past ten years, Atheros has turned to Digital Ascent for support in navigating significant changes including its 3.1 billion dollar acquisition by Qualcomm in 2011. Now called Qualcomm Atheros, the company continues to develop semiconductors for network communications, particularly wireless chipsets, as a division of Qualcomm. Completing smaller projects like data sheets and print assets to major ones such as two full-blown website redesigns, Digital Ascent has helped Atheros express its unique identity while becoming a successful part of the Qualcomm family.

MTN Approach

An innovative website for an innovative product

The Mountain Approach created an alternative to clunky splitboards for backcountry snowboarding. Their compact, fold-up ski slips neatly into a backpack…and TMA’s creative take on design demanded a website just as innovative. We designed and developed a visually bold site to establish their branding in contrast to the muted tone and style usually seen in snow sports. Key features of the site include an interactive product page with clickable icons that launch videos; a blog; social media sharing and a shopping cart.

Juan Valdez Cafe

Working with one of the largest design, development, & marketing teams from Bogota Colombia, we had to pleasure of helping design the shopping cart experience for the Juan Valdez Cafe Coffee company. A brand that has been engrained in everyone’s head who grew up watching TV in the 80’s. We helped to design the front-end shopping experience that was implemented into a fully customized CMS backend. Helping Juan Valdez create the perfect user experience so you can enjoy the perfect cup of coffee.

Homeschool Outerwear

Homeschool Outerwear leverages the idea of learning by doing.  This is why we redesign and reskin their website each year to be current with the seasonal catalogs, constantly learning what works best for them. Digital Ascent delivers a fully mobile responsive shopping cart experience for Homeschool Outerwear users.  Along with the website, we designed and built an interactive catalog, created social media marketing campaigns, directed and produced product video’s and various other digital marketing materials.

This project was to help kick-start Napster’s relaunch campaign after being shut down due to legal difficulties. We worked with illustrator Geoff McFetridge to create a series of animations that were aired on major television networks worldwide.
